Our 2023 safaris were exceptionally full of wildlife and brought pleasant surprises and unusual sightings. We visit 3 different areas within the Greater Kruger Park and the Park itself. We tracked leopards in Sabi Sands and photographed from a unique water level hide.

I present my trip report from our first ever visit to the water level underground photographic hide in May 2022. This was an exciting new way to photograph and highly successful with notable visits from giraffe and elephant herds. We will be looking forward to many future visits.
I have added an exclusive 2 night stay at a house with an underground water level photography bunker / hide for our exclusive use. After magic days in Kruger and Sabi Sands we will relax and photography all day and night in the hide.
Giraffes battle over mating rights and territory but sometimes they are just learning to fight or fighting to find their place in the hierarchy. New research has suggested there are rules to these more casual spars.
